Is it worth it to move money from good mutual funds into a 529 plan for 4 or 5 years?

I have some money nicely invest in some solid Vanguard mutual funds outside a tax advantaged account. The Roth IRA’s are maxed out.
Is it worth it to move some bucks (five figures) into the kid’s 529 college fund for just 4-5 years?

My apologies if I was not clear. My 529 college fund is also with Vanguard, and there are some very good funds available to me there, also. Not exactly the same funds as Vanguard offers outside the 529, but they are good funds, imo.
